Anthony E. Perkins

Anthony E. Perkins, age 62, of Fort Plain, NY, passed away on Saturday, May 18, 2024, with his family at his side, after a valiant battle with cancer.
Born on October 6, 1961, in Cobleksill, NY, he was the son of Sidney Perkins Sr., who survives and the late Mary (Fitzpatrick) Perkins.
For many years, Anthony demonstrated his strong work ethic as a yard jockey at Target DC. His passion for the outdoors was evident to all who knew him as he frequently ventured out to hike, fish, and enjoy nature's beauty. Music filled his life with joy, as did the evenings spent playing pitch with friends. Most importantly, Anthony loved to spend time with his family. Those who had the pleasure of knowing him will never forget the laughter he brought into their lives.
He is survived by his wife and best friend of over 35 years, Linda (Bentley) Perkins; children, Rebecca Putman, Joseph Putman (Lisa), Eric Perkins; brothers, Sydney Perkins Jr., Daniel Perkins (Kathleen); sisters, Rose Collins, Christine Johnson (Tim), Barb Hailu (Yared); and grandchildren, Jacob, Jaxcyn, Teigan, Jeremih.
In keeping with his wishes there will be no calling hours or funeral services.
A Graveside Service will be held by the family at a later date at Ephratah Cemetery.
