Anthony Edward Pinker

Anthony (Tony) Edward Pinker, 85, passed away on November 27, 2025, in Palmdale, California. Born to Eddie and Eleanor Pinker at home in Glendale, California on April 8, 1940. Tony was the eldest boy of five siblings and a lifelong Californian and Angelino. A graduate of Franklin High School and worked for Coca Cola, before spending over fifty years in the entertainment industry, including a long tenure at Sony Pictures. He and his wife Carole, to whom he was married for 66 years, owned several businesses, including multiple restaurants and antique stores, before retiring and opening their record store in Lancaster, California. Tony was a lifelong lover of film, having worked as an actor in his younger years. He maintained an extensive media collection and loved vintage cars, having proudly restored his 1957 Corvette. Tony was known for always being quick with a witty retort and always had a story to tell. Though shy as a child, as an adult he was gregarious, dramatic, and never met a stranger. Always generous in spirit, Tony lived life with a deep sense of community and devotion to his family. He was preceded in death by his father Eddie, his stepfather Art and his mother Eleanor, as well as his youngest brother, Jonnie. Tony is survived by his wife, Carole; three sons, Anthony (Laura), Nishon (Kim), and Gregory (Kelli); one sister, Arolyn; two brothers, Michael and Gregory (Donna); 5 grandchildren (Dakota, Marissa, Dante, Demetri & Nani) and 4 great-grandchildren (Harlow, Ari, Orabelle & Ardash) along with many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended & adopted family alike.
