Anthony J. Popolo Sr.

Anthony J. Popolo, Sr. (age 84) who passed on February 10, 2025, leaving behind his devoted wife of 62 years Carmela (nee Corrado). Loving father of Annemarie Narducci (the late Frank J., Jr.) and Anthony J. Popolo, Jr. (Dawn). Dearest poppy of Tiffany (Dorian), Lauren, Frank III, Kyra, Calli (Michael), and Kaia. Great-grandfather of Logan and Tommy. Also, he is survived by his nieces, nephews, sisters-in-law, and brothers-in-law.
Born and raised in South Philadelphia, Tony, as he was affectionately known by, loved to hunt, fish, and cook his favorite spareribs. He worked for the Philadelphia School District as a security supervisor, before retiring and moving to New Jersey. He made friends everywhere he went with his huge smile because he loved to cause trouble. He was the proudest Poppy to his many grandchildren and will always be remembered by how devoted he was to all of them, who he chauffeured around and spoiled any way he could think of.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Friday, February 21, 2025 from 10:30am to 12noon in The Chapel at BOUCHER FUNERAL HOME, 1757 Delsea Drive, Deptford, NJ 08096.
Memorial Service 12noon in The Chapel of the funeral home.
Interment Private.
