Badger Funeral Home of LittletonAnthony “Tony” Francis Priest Jr., age 81 and long-time resident of Westford, passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 28, 2025, at his residence, surrounded by his loving family. He was the loving husband of 61 years to Carolyn M. (Dimitruk) Priest.
Born in Boston, Massachusetts, on December 7, 1943, he was the son of the late Anthony Francis Priest Sr. and Catherine (Healy) Priest. Raised and educated in Brighton and Littleton.
Tony and Carolyn settled in Westford, where together they raised their loving family.
Tony owned and operated Anthony’s Place Barber Shop in Brighton for over 40 years. He enjoyed working and socializing with many of his customers. His barber shop was a well-known local meeting place for many.
Family was the center of his life; he cherished the time with his wife, children, and grandchildren. He always attended their sporting events and hosted many holidays and other family celebrations. Tony and Carolyn spent many years at their York, Maine, home and enjoyed trips to Florida.
Along with his loving wife, he is survived by his sons Mark and Anne (Garabedian), Anthony III and Nicole (Sarris), his grandchildren Anthony IV, Zoe, Adam, Charlee Priest, and Alex and Jake Doherty, and his brother Michael Priest and Lorraine (Lebrun), and many of his nieces and nephews. He is preceded in his death by his beloved daughter Lisa and his brothers Francis and Richard Priest.
Family and friends will gather to honor and remember Anthony for a period of visitation on Wednesday, October 1, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Badger Funeral Home, 347 King St., Littleton, MA. His funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, October 2, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at Blessed Trinity Parish - St. Catherine of Alexandria Church, 107 N Main St, Westford, MA. Burial will follow in Westlawn Cemetery, 7 New Estate Rd., Littleton, MA.
