Anthony Dewayne Roark, age 52, of Corbin, KY, passed away on Tuesday, August 26, 2025, at Baptist Health Corbin.
Born in Harlan, KY, he was the son of the late Donald Leon Roark and Charlene Miller Price. Anthony worked for several years with the City of Richmond.
A true sports enthusiast, Anthony could always be found cheering for his Dallas Cowboys, supporting the Kentucky Wildcats, or watching a NASCAR race. He also enjoyed driving his truck, which brought him a sense of freedom and joy. Most of all, Anthony cherished his family and the time spent with them.
He is survived by his fiancée, Michelle Brown; daughter, Cheltzie Middleton; son, Corey Roark; granddaughter, Autumn Mathis; sisters, Angela Bledsoe (Martin) and Leann Dye (Billy); brothers, Donald Roark and Frank Jr.; stepchildren, Shanise Brown-Burke (Christopher) and Conner Brown; and step-grandson, Ezra Brown-Burke.
Visitation will be held from 1:00–2:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 31, 2025, at Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home, where his funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Martin Bledsoe officiating. Burial will follow in Pine Hill Cemetery in Corbin, KY.
In lieu of flowers, the family is accepting donations to assist with expenses. Donations may be made online by selecting the “Donate Now” icon, in person at the funeral home, or by calling the funeral home directly. All donations will go toward assisting with expenses, and the family will receive a list of donors.
