Anthony "Tony" Lyn Robinson, 65, of Hot Springs, was welcomed into the arms of his Savior on April 19, 2024. He was preceded in death by his parents, Johnny Franklin and Edna Lou Sears of Hot Springs, Arkansas.
Before retirement, Tony worked as a logger since the age of twelve and was known as the "Tree Man" in his community. It has been said that he had pine sap in his blood and a special love for the woods and timber. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing, and frequent dining at the local Waffle House or nearest Chinese restaurant.
Tony was an ordained Baptist minister and pastored for 8 years. He was a member of Harvey's Chapel Baptist Church. It was evident to anyone who knew Tony that faith and family were most important to him.
He is survived by his loving wife and best friend of 47 years, Rhonda Joan Robinson; His sons, Perry (Beverly) Robinson of Benton, AR, and Anthony Robinson Jr.; daughter, Jonnie Robinson of Jessieville, AR; eleven grandkids, who were his pride and joy, Tori (Andrew) Broadbent, Devin Petty, Trena Diggs, Marcus Robinson, Chance Chancellor, Jayden Robinson, Diego Robinson, Craven Kirksey, Pierre, Isaiah and Remington Robinson; three Great-Grandkids; Paisley Nash, Oliver Broadbent, and Librium Kirksey; his four sisters; Carolyn Miller, Debbie (Tony) Rachilla, Tammy (Ronnie) Phillips, and Connie Sears; a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family; a close friend and fishing buddy, Billy Evans; and his precious pet chihuahua, Baby Girl.
Services will be held at Harvey's Chapel Baptist Church located at 2515 Mountain Pine Rd., Hot Springs AR., 71913, on Saturday, April 27, 2024. The visitation will begin at 9:00 AM with the memorial service following at 10:00 AM.
