Anthony Wayne Rogers

Anthony "Tony" Wayne Rogers, born November 7, 1962, to Charles and Patricia (Gold) Rogers in Heidelberg, West Germany, passed away on November 20, 2025. One of six children, Tony grew up surrounded by love and a strong family bond that stayed with him throughout his life.
Tony's life changed on August 5, 1993, when he was involved in a car accident, yet his spirit and resilience continued to shine through. He found joy in many passions, especially attending auto races and helping out at the events whenever he could. He also loved riding his bicycle at Wilson's Creek, where he enjoyed the peace and freedom it brought him. Tony spent many days fishing, had a deep admiration for wolves, and was a devoted fan of western movies-particularly anything featuring John Wayne.
A true history enthusiast, Tony had a special interest in the Civil War and loved learning all he could about the era. He was also a talented, self-taught artist who expressed himself through drawing, one of his greatest joys. He attended View Point Church in Crane, MO, where he enjoyed fellowship and community. Later in life when he was no longer able to attend church service, Tony found solace in reading his bible.
Tony is survived by his brother Ken (Chris) Grayson; sisters Neta (Jim) Ford, Karla Kay Grayson, and Denise (Marty) McHaffie; and two nieces, Sarah and Rachel Ford, as well as a host of family and friends who will miss him dearly.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his step-dad Pat Grayson, and his sister Glenda Grayson.
