It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dear, Anthony Jessie James Salas. He was born December 5, 2007 He left this world too soon, on September 15,2024 in Ruidoso, New Mexico at the tender age of 16 years old.
He is survived by his mom, Darlene Salas; and brother and sister Alex and Jasmine Salas. He also leaves behind maternal grandparents, Johnny and Teresa Salas; and great grandma, Ramona Collazo; Tio Johnny (Boy) Salas, and nephew Alexander Salas Il and sister-in-law Alexis Garza, many more cousins and friends. Anthony is welcomed in death by his great great grandma Consolación (Nanny) Silva; great grandparents, Juan and Mary Salas; and great grandpa, Francisco Collazo.
A service celebrating his life will be held on September 28, 2024 at St. Jude's in San Patricio, NM at 9 am for the viewing and 10am for services. Burial will follow at Hondo Cemetery. Please join us at the center following the interment, where friends and family are invited to remember a life that, albeit too short, was truly a gift to all he met. His light will continue to shine through those that he leaves behind.
The family will receive friends for visitation and viewing at the funeral home on Friday, September 27, 2024 from 1:00PM to 3:00PM.
