Anthony SanFilippo Obituary
EAST GREENBUSH - Anthony SanFilippo, 75, of East Greenbush, passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 16, 2024. Anthony was born in Albany to the late Anthony and Lucy (Losacco) SanFilippo and has been a resident of East Greenbush since 1987. He worked as a maintenance man for KeyBank and the Albany Housing Authority prior to his retirement in 2011. Anthony enjoyed the outdoors, especially his time spent camping, fishing, and hunting. He was an avid horse racing fan and enjoyed his time gambling on the races. Anthony could also be found most evenings watching wrestling on the television. Although, his greatest joy was time spent with his family, especially his grandson, Easton.
In addition to his parents, Anthony was predeceased by his siblings, Philip and Mary Lou SanFilippo. He is survived by his son, Anthony "Tony" (Trish Reed) SanFilippo and his grandson, Easton SanFilippo.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Anthony's family on Wednesday, November 20, 2024, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., at the W.J. Lyons, Jr. Funeral Home, 1700 Washington Ave., Rensselaer, N.Y. 12144. A funeral service will take place following the visitation period on Wednesday, November 20, 2024, at 12:00 p.m., at the funeral home. Interment will immediately follow the funeral service at St. Agnes Cemetery, Menands.
