Anthony Scicchitano Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by William G. Basralian Funeral Service on Jan. 29, 2026.
Anthony (Tony) M. Scicchitano, of Mahwah, NJ peacefully began his journey to heaven on Friday evening, January 23, 2026.

Tony, or his most popular and favorite name by many these days, Papa, is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Nancy Scicchitano, daughter Andrea Boyle (Patrick), son Adam and his 5 granddaughters who were the absolute light of his life, Natalie, Sarah, Danielle, Charlotte and Kaydence. His 2 grandpups, Archie and Jackson are also missing their special friend these days as well.

Tony was a true angel in all sense of the word. He was a loving, caring and devoted husband and father, adored grandfather, loyal friend and hard working and dedicated man to his profession over the years. Although not Armenian himself, Tony was a proud member of St. Leon Armenian church and volunteered his time over the years in countless roles, including Sunday School teacher, member of the Men's Fellowship, and helping each year for the church Food Festival and picnics. Tony will be deeply missed by his family and friends, but we are comforted knowing his angel wings have grown larger and stronger to watch down on us from heaven.
