Anthony Smith

Anthony Smith, 69, Kingsport, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, October 4, 2022 at Holston Valley Medical Center. Born in Kingsport, he had lived in this area all his life. A graduate of Ketron High School, he went on to receive his Associate's in Mechanics from Northeast State. He worked at Anderson Ford for many years and then worked full time with his dad and uncle at Center Dale Service Station, where he had continued as owner/operator. Anthony was a member of Bethel Apostolic Church where he served in the sound booth.
He was preceded in death by his parents, J.D. and Shirley Smith.
Anthony is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Audra Smith; sister, Teresa Chaffin Roberts and husband, Randy; nephew, Dustin Chaffin and wife, Echo; uncle, Billy Smith and wife, Charlotte; and several cousins.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday, October 7, 2022 Oak Hill Memorial Park with Bro. Chad Byington officiating.
