Anthony Stivers Obituary
Tony was born on March 1, 1968, to his parents Jesse and Linda Stivers. He was a member of St. John's Baptist Church and an employee of the Franklin County Road Department.
A lifelong resident of Frankfort, Kentucky, Tony enjoyed good country music, tending his garden, fishing, golfing, the Bengals, and any kitchen gadget that he could find. Everyone who knew him knew that there was nothing he loved more than hanging out with his friends and family, especially his children, his wife of nine years, and his dogs.
Most recently, he was exceptionally proud of his daughter, Maddie, for graduating from Franklin County High School on May 25, 2024.
Tony is survived by his wife, Kathryn "Katie" Eastman Stivers; parents, Jesse Melvin Stivers and Linda Carol Tracy Stivers; his half-sister, Susan (Steve) Carrier; his children Zachary Taylor (Jennifer) Stivers, and Madison "Maddie" Rena Stivers; his step-children Kayla Carroway, Kristen (Daniel) Anderson, and Kennadi Robinson (Ethan Brewer); and his beloved grandchildren Wyatt Tyler Stivers, Raelynn Joy Stivers, Emilia Kate Anderson, and Clara Laine Anderson.
A Celebration of Tony's life will be held at Harrod Brothers Funeral Home on Thursday, May 30, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Josh Rayborn officiating. Visitation will be at Harrod Brothers Funeral Home from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. on Thursday.
Honorary pallbearers will be Darryl Smith, Cody Callis, Jon Mitchell, Wyatt Stivers, Connie Goins, Tommy Goins, and Daniel Anderson.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests those who wish to express sympathy to consider making a donation to Cedar Lake Lodge, LaGrange, KY, or LIFE House for Animals.
Arrangements are under the direction of Harrod Brothers Funeral Home & Crematory.
