Tony was a loyal employee of Guess, Inc., for 24 years. He was a 46-year member of the Knights of St. John Commandery #103 and a member at Most Blessed Sacrament Church.
He is preceded in death by his parents, James and Christine Tabler.
Tony is survived by his wife of 40 years, Lillilu Tabler; brothers, Charles Bernard Tabler, John Michael Tabler, Sr. (Louella), and sister, Mary Darlene Tabler. He is also survived by two nieces, Amber Goodwin and Jennifer Reisenbeck (Reva), and two nephews, John Tabler, Jr. (Kim) and Joseph Tabler, plus a multitude of friends.
Visitation will be 12noon – 8pm Tuesday, February 24, 2026, at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway. His funeral Mass will be held at 10am on Wednesday, February 25, 2026, at Most Blessed Sacrament, 3509 Taylor Blvd, with interment to follow at Resthaven Memorial Park, 4400 Bardstown Road.
Memorial gifts may be made to St. Joseph's Children's Home, 2823 Frankfort Avenue, Louisville, KY 40206, St. Jude's Children's Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or Knights of St. John Commandery #94, 224 Covington Avenue, Covington, KY 41011.
