Anthony John Toma, known as Tony to his friends and family, passed away peacefully in the comfort of his home on September 29, 2025, at the age of 59. Born on the last day of December 1965 in Owosso, Michigan, Tony was the son of the late Elizabeth Alice Pavlica and Louis Frank Toma. His warm presence and jovial spirit will be profoundly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

Tony is survived by his devoted wife, Jennifer, and his siblings, Elizabeth A. (Cal) Crutchleo, Mary Jones, Helen (Ken) Smolek, Kathy (Bruce) Parker, Frank (Bobbie) Toma, and Joseph (Lynette) Toma. He also leaves behind his in-laws, Dave and Judy Moiles, Jeri and Darrell Benedict, Deb and Jim Smith, and Sue and Brian Gould, and his extended family, Vic Klatt, Pat Janicek and Robert Compton, who all held a special place in his heart.

A proud graduate of Corunna High School, class of 1984, a member of the 1982-83 Corunna High School boys Basketball Class B State Champion team, which was inducted into the Corunna Athletic Hall of Fame. Tony carried his enthusiasm and team spirit into his further education at Michigan State University, where he earned a bachelor's degree in marketing. His academic achievements laid the foundation for a successful career in radio advertising, where his creativity and wit were appreciated by colleagues and clients alike.

Tony's Christian faith was a cornerstone of his life, guiding his actions and interactions with the kindness and generosity that so many came to admire in him. He was a man who was always ready to lend a helping hand or share a laugh, making him a beloved figure in both his professional and personal circles.

Bowling and golfing were two of Tony's passions, not just for the game itself but for the camaraderie found at the bowling alley and the golf course, being among friends. A true sports enthusiast, Tony was a dedicated fan of Michigan football and the Detroit Tigers. An avid outdoorsman, Tony found great joy in deer hunting, embracing the tranquility and challenge of the sport.

Tony's sense of humor was as legendary as his generosity. He had a knack for lighting up a room with his quick wit and easygoing nature, ensuring that those around him were never far from a smile. His laughter was infectious, and his ability to find humor in the everyday made every moment with him a little brighter.

As we bid farewell to Tony, we celebrate a life marked by kindness, laughter, and generosity. He was a man who made a lasting impact on the lives of those he encountered, leaving behind a legacy of love and cherished memories.

The Toma family will receive friends at Watkins Brothers Funeral Homes-Corunna, 302 W. Corunna Ave. on Thursday, October 2, 2025 from 2:00pm to 8:00pm. Funeral service will take place on Friday at 11:00am at the funeral home with burial following in Pine Tree Cemetery.
