Anthony “Tony” Harold Green, 92, of Columbia died October 4, 2025. Tony was born and raised in England. His work took him all over the world, where he made enduring friendships.
He and the love of his life, Carol, who passed away in 2010, made their home in Sweden, India, Argentina and Mexico before moving to the United States. Tony loved to spend time with family and friends and was always telling amazing stories. He was an avid motorcycle rider and enjoyed several cross-country trips. In his latter years, he enjoyed riding his trike and was always ready for a lunch out or a peach Chick Fil A milkshake, shared with friends or family.
Tony is survived and missed by his daughter and son-in-law, Tanya and Jonathan Greenlee of Spartanburg, S.C; two grandchildren who he adored, Sarah and Lane Greenlee; his sister Dorothy Caudwell, and sister-in-law Diana Bates, of England.
A Celebration of Life gathering will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday, November 8 th , at Spring Valley Country Club, 300 Spring Valley Road, Columbia, SC 29223.

The nightly ceremony in Washington, D.C. will be dedicated in honor of your loved one on the day of your choosing.
