On October 8th 2025 Anthony Lawrence Trujillo- Mathews (Sniffy) made his final dance to the Creator. Born to Clifford Wilson Mathews Sr.(Dubb) and Shawna Trujillo on May 18,1993 in Albuquerque N.M. He was the young age of 32 when he was called home. Anthony(Sniffy) though his years were cut short lived a life filled with love, music, dancing, art, fashion,family and friends. He was best known for lighting up the room with his presence.
Anthony(Sniffy) younger years began with the Catholic Church, where he was baptized with his God Parents: Manuel Trujillo and Julia Dominivichie. He lived in Albuquerque with his parents, Bullhead AZ and then later, moved out to Banning/ Beaumont and Morongo Reservation area in CA.,where he spent the bulk of his years with his family. Anthony recieved his G.E.D and several certificates from various classes he participated in. He worked at Childhelp which he loved until they closed their doors.
Anthony was well known for his creative side. He dabbled in modeling which fueld his loved for fashion, which he had no problem turning heads straight. Prior to his passing he had designed a clothing line using his own drawings, which was in the process of taking off. He was an amazing artist. Anthony was well known for his dancing which he recieved awards for. He was a mover and a shaker, a force to be reckoned with. He absolutely loved ALL kinds of music, which he had no problem belting out the tune with his theatrical dance moves, wherever he was.
Anthony had five siblings: Michaela Truijillo, Ceyleah Mathews, C.W. Mathews Jr. Landon Mathews and Marcelino Trujillo whom he loved very much and enjoyed every minute he got with them. He loved being a Brother and he always will even from afar. Anthony had one Nephew Nokaamay Mathews-Garcia who he loved very much and enjoyed spending his time with. Anthony was surrounded by family who he held very dear and loved and was loved very much by. He had the best of friends and lived life true to himself His big heart, laughter, smile, hugs, joking around, crap talking, no filter self,funny and singing truely will be missed. Though our love for him will always be strong and we will miss him dearly. We know he is dancing in the heavens and is at peace in the arms of our loved ones who have passed on..
The Heavens have gained our Star who lit up our lives.
He is preceded in death by: Great Grandparents Clifford and Doris Mathews, Great Granparents Wilson and Clara Bow, Grandfather Harold Mathews Sr, Grandmother Clarice Bow, Father C.W. Mathews,Great Uncles: Carl Mathews, Richard Mathews, Thomas Mathews, Leonard Bow, Great Aunt Nancy Soza, Aunts: Clara Galindo, Clarissa Mathews, April Gonzalez and several cousins.
He is survived by his Mother Shawna Trujillo, Grandmother Orlinda Gutierrez, Grandfather Edward Gutierrez, Grandmother Dorothy Mathews, Siblings: Michaela Trujillo, Ceyleah Mathews, C.W. Mathews Jr., Landon Mathews and Marcelino Trujillo, Nephew Nokaamay Mathews-Garcia, Aunts: Nancy Galindo, Jackie Warren, Jenna Sesma and Julianne Canales,Deja Gutierrez,Uncles: Harold Mathews Jr., Manuel Galindo, Hector Canales, Robert Warren, Manuel Necochea Sr, Emmanuel Sesma, Jeff Mills, James Gutierrez, Great Aunts and Uncles: Mary and Dirk Bussing, Roy Mathews, Lawrence Bow, Diana Bow, Lucille Bow, Janice Graham and SEVERAL Cousins and his Soul Twin Erika Whiteshield and Bestfriend Destiny Chapparosa
