A Life Well Lived
Anthony Tyrone Washington was born on November 5, 1958, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to Arvan and Mable Washington. As the eldest of five siblings, Anthony embraced leadership and responsibility early in life.
Growing up in a proud military family, his formative years were spent traveling extensively, culminating in his high school graduation from Wagner High School Clark Air Force Base in the Philippines. Anthony's academic journey was remarkable. He graduated from the University of North Texas with a bachelor's degree in computer science through the ROTC program. Later, he attended graduate school at Harvard University and Troy State University, further cementing his legacy of excellence.
A Distinguished Military Career
In 1982, Anthony began his dedicated service with the United States Air Force as an officer. His commitment and diligence were recognized with numerous accolades, including:
• Air Force Commendation Medal
• Air Force Organization Excellence Award
• National Defense Service Award
Anthony proudly served his country in Operation Desert Shield/Storm from 1990 to 1994, exemplifying courage and determination in the face of challenges.
A Fulfilling Civilian Life
After his military service, Anthony pursued a successful career as a software engineer and consultant. His entrepreneurial spirit led him to establish his own consultancy, where he shared his expertise and passion for technology.
Cherished Hobbies and Family Life
Anthony found joy in life's simple pleasures-reading, long walks, music, fitness, and traveling with his family. As a devoted father, he coached Little League baseball and basketball for his sons. His deep faith and dedication to community led him to serve as a lector in his church ministry.
A Legacy of Love
Anthony was preceded in death by his parents, Arvan and Mable Washington. His memory will live on in the hearts of his beloved wife, Theresa; sons, Lucas, Michael, and Jason (Elissa); siblings Michael (Davida), Joyce, Phyllis, and Arvan III; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
His unwavering love, guidance, and wisdom touched everyone he encountered, leaving an indelible mark on their lives.

I am so sorry for the loss of a wonderful man. Anthony will be missed by everyone here at Amazon! Something I will always remember about him is how positive he was. Even when sick, even when having a bad day, Anthony showed nothing but love & kindness for others, and always had a smile on his face.
