Anthony Gerhart Wieber "Tony", 77, of Lincoln, passed away May 30, 2025, at his home surrounded by family.
Visitation will be from 10 AM until 12 Noon Thursday, June 5, 2025, at Holland Barry & Bennett Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 12 Noon. Casual dress is requested. Burial will follow in New Union Cemetery with military detail provided by the American Legion Post 263 Honor Guard.
Tony was born December 8, 1947, in Lincoln, IL., the son of Edward Wieber and Dorothy (Bracko) Wieber. He married Sandra Schafer on July 31, 1968. He proudly served his country in the United States Army. Tony was a lifetime farmer and herdsman. He enjoyed hunting and showing livestock and was active in 4H, FFA, and the Logan County Fair.
Survivors include his wife Sandy Wieber, sister Debby (Rob) Lee, brother and sister in laws: Charley (Marsha) Miller, Gary (Janet) Schafer, Pam Matthews, nieces and nephews: Chuck Miller (Erin), Jody Lowe (Rob), Zak Lee, Mike Lee (Nicole); several great nieces and nephews, cousins and friends also survive.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his son Chad Wieber.
Memorial donations may be made to the Marine Corp League, Central Illinois Veterans Commission, or to the Logan County Fair Association.
