Beloved husband of Dorothy for 64 amazing years. Loving father of David (Judy), Donald (Mary), Daniel (Jacqueline) and Douglas (Mark Freitas). Proud grandfather of Michael (Ellen), the late Daniel, Stephanie (Jonathan) Wickersham, Anthony (Amanda), Joseph (Rachel), Deanna (Thomas) Angers and Danielle (Joshua) Gall. Cherished great-grandfather of Mia and Danny Zerafa; Anthony, Daniella and Andrew Wickersham; Luca and Peyton Zerafa; Owen and Aurora Angers. Dear son of the late Eutichia and the late Mary Zerafa. Dear brother of Vincent (Antoinette) Zerafa, the late Fr. Robert Zerafa and the late Connie Zerafa.
Anthony is a graduated of Holy Redeemer High School and UofD Mercy College. Anthony was a founding father of the Automotive Industry Action Group. While living in Shelby Township, he served as a lector and a eucharistic minister for many years. Family was very important to Anthony. He loved being involved with his son's sports, including coaching baseball and basketball. Anthony ran the Macomb Junior Cagers league. In his free time, Anthony owned Zerafa Flowers Gifts & Greetings, where he worked alongside his wife Dorothy and was a gifted floral designer. Anthony was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather. He was his grandchildren and great-grandchildren's biggest fan at their activities. Anthony enjoyed time at his cottage EZ Ranch and RVA with his family. Anthony will be greatly missed by his loving family and friends.
Visitation Wednesday 3-8pm at Wujek - Calcaterra & Sons Inc, (Shelby Township), 54880 Van Dyke at 25 Mile Rd. Funeral Thursday Instate 9:30 am, 10am Funeral Mass at St. Kieran Church, 53600 Mound Road, Shelby Township. Interment, Resurrection Cemetery.
