Antionette Schneider

Antoinette "Toni" Schneider (age 80) passed away peacefully at Wheeling Hospital on November 5th 2025. Toni is survived by her brother, Richard Hans and sister Cassandra Nice; brother-in-law, Robert Schneider, son, Richard Schneider Calabash and daughter-in-law, Somrudee Calabash; daughter, Debra Zombek, and son-in-law, Joseph Zombek, Sr.; son, Keith Schneider; cousins, Shirley Robertson, Ken Robertson and Jeff Habak; grandchildren, Joseph Zombek, Jr., Jacob Zombek, Haleigh Pissos; and numerous great-great grandchildren. Toni was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Schneider; brothers, John Kolibash and Charles Heil; and granddaughter Nicolle Gibbons.

Toni was born in Wheeling, WV on June 17th 1945 to Thomas Kolibash and June Hans. She attended Wheeling High School and went on to work in Patient Transportation at OVMC for over 20 years. Her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren were the light of her life. Her favorite holiday was Christmas, which she always celebrated in high style. Among her favorite musicians were The Beach Boys, Adam Lambert, and Elvis. She enjoyed traveling to Graceland with life-long friend Elaine Roskovich and to Disneyland with her family, her favorite attraction being the Teacup ride. Toni will be deeply missed by family, friends and all who knew her.

A memorial service will be held at 12pm, Monday, November 10th at Altmeyer Funeral Home, in the Wheeling Chapel. Flowers and condolences may be sent to that location.
