Antoinette "Toni" Humanski

Antoinette "Toni" Humanski, age 74, a longtime resident of Aurora, IL, passed away peacefully on January 24, 2025 at her home, surrounded by the love of her family.
Toni was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Robert Humanski; her parents, Anthony and Helen DiPietro; her grandparents, Jack and Connie DiPietro; and her sister, Susan Rizzo. She is survived by her sister, Carol DiPietro; her extended family, Karen and Greg Ktistou, Mark and Kimmy Kacz, Rich and Linda Schultz, John and Deanna Chrastka, Rick and Carol Plescia; many wonderful nieces and nephews; her husband Bob's children, John (Cheryl) Humanski, Robert and Scott Humanski; and her grandson, Christopher "Wrigley" Humanski.
Toni was a dedicated employee of Arthur Andersen & Co. for over 20 years. She returned to school in the 1990's and earned her teaching degree in Special Education. Toni ultimately retired in 2015 after 15 years as a Special Education teacher. After her retirement she volunteered her time tutoring and teaching English. She enjoyed music, playing the organ, and was learning to play the guitar. Toni was a gifted artist and a talented painter. She also was a fan of Zumba and enjoyed participating in classes all the time. Toni was a fabulous baker and loved baking for her family, friends and for her church. She was blessed to have been able to travel and experienced many wonderful places throughout the world. Toni will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Visitation will be Thursday, January 30, 10:00-11:00 AM at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church, 701 S. Eola Rd., Aurora. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM. Interment will be at St. Mary Cemetery, Evergreen Park, IL.
