Antoinette Lorenz was born on March 8, 1964 to parents Antonius and Wilhelmina Westdorp in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She was the 3rd of 4 daughters. Her sisters were Priscilla Mancosky, Jacqueline Van Winkle and Michelle Westdorp. In September 1970, the family moved to Leimuiden, Zuid Holland for 7 years and then her mom and her sisters settled in Loveland, CO in 1977.
Antoinette met David Lorenz in high school and they were married on June 26, 1982. They had 4 children, Matthew Lorenz, Kendra Politowski, Caitlin McDonough and Audrey Lorenz. Antoinette was a military wife for 10 years and despite being a mother of 4 young children, she worked full time and received her associates degree in Accounting. After returning to Loveland permanently in the early 1990's, Dave and Antoinette purchased the family business Belmire Sprinkler and Landscaping in 1995 and in 1998 they established Aspen Landscape Management Inc. Antoinette loved the warm weather and being outside, and spent many summers camping in Glendo, WY with the family. She loved to water ski, go on boat rides and go fishing. Despite her fear of flying, Antoinette was well travelled both nationally and internationally.
In 2015, Dave and Antoinette divorced and she moved into her charming bohemian house in downtown Loveland where she enjoyed hosting pool parties, gardening, family meals and holiday events. Antoinette met Richard Ball in 2015 and they were together for nearly 10 years. With Richard, she enjoyed spending weekends in Estes at the Ball family cabin, traveling, going to social events, art shows, and attending Rotary.
She was an active and dedicated member of Loveland Rotary Club for 30 years. Antoinette had just retired in 2023 and was enjoying the freedom of retirement.
Antoinette will be remembered as a successful business woman, a passionate supporter of the arts, and a devoted and loving mother and Oma to her 8–soon to be 10–grandchildren. She was the heart of her family.
She passed away on January 6th at her home. She is survived by her 4 children, 8 grandchildren–Jayven, Summer, Avery, Riley, Owen, Lucas, Wyatt and Oliver–her mother, and her 3 sisters.
A Celebration of Life event will be held in May, more details will be published closer to the event.

Dear Kendra,Caitlyn, Audrey and Matt,
I was shocked and saddened to read in the paper today of the tragic death of your mom. I am so sorry for your loss.
I have many fond memories of her and your family during the many years that I got to know everyone while maintaining her plants in her business and home, and also through our connection for the love of Bronze Sculpture and Benson Park.
Her legacy will live on forever and she will be sorely missed.
Prayers for the family and May she rest in peace. Stay strong.
Much love,
Kathy Verbel
