ANTONETTE SPINUCCI Obituary

SPINUCCI, Antonette M. "Toni" Age 94, of Nahant, peacefully passed away, on Thursday, September 11, 2025, at Kaplan Hospice House, surrounded by her loving family. Born on May 30, 1931, she was the daughter of the late Salvatore and Anna (DiTucci) Macera and the wife of the late Mario B. Spinucci. Born the first child of her family in America, Toni carried the pride and promise of a new generation. She attended hairdressing school and worked as a skilled hairdresser for 70 years. Alongside her husband, she founded Antonette's Salon in Somerville, and later in life opened Antonette's 2 in Nahant, where she continued her legacy. In her free time, Toni found joy in playing bingo, scratch tickets and trips to Foxwoods. She was a Boston sports enthusiast; she especially loved her Boston Red Sox. She was a devout Catholic and proud parishioner of St. Thomas Aquinas. Toni loved spending time with her family more than anything and always looked forward to entertaining and hosting holidays, where she was always best dressed and the life of the party. Toni also enjoyed spending time working with the Nahant Council on Aging, where she participated in lunches, trips, parties, and cut hair. Along with her parents, and her beloved husband, Toni was also predeceased by her siblings, Cosmo Macero and Rose Macera. Toni will be dearly missed and is survived by her loving children, Linda Peterson and her husband, Bill of Nahant, MA, Paula Winter and her husband, Bob of Bonita Springs, FL, Patricia Burchell and her husband, Billy of Nahant, MA, Gina Lawton and her husband, Joe of Venice, FL, and Mario Spinucci and his wife, Emily of Nahant, MA; beloved grandchildren, Joey, Nichole, Sheena, Amy, Christina, Michael, Sarah and Danny; as well as her sister, Mary Westcott. She is also survived by her 11 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Visiting Hours: Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Visiting Hours on Monday, September 15, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM, at Solimine Funeral Home, 67 Ocean Street, LYNN.
