Antonietta Cantone, 88, devoted wife, mother, and beloved Nonna, passed away surrounded by the love of her family.
Born in Naples, Italy, Antonietta carried with her the rich traditions, warmth, and spirit of her homeland. After immigrating to the United States, she settled in East New York, Brooklyn, where she began building the life that would become her family's foundation. She later made her home in Franklin Square, NY, where she and her husband raised their family with love, dedication, and unwavering strength.
Antonietta was the embodiment of selflessness-caring, brave, and always putting others before herself. She loved deeply and met every challenge in life with quiet grace.
She was the devoted wife of Francesco Cantone, who preceded her in death. Together, they created a home filled with love, resilience, and a deep commitment to family.
Antonietta was the loving mother of Lena and Anthony, cherished Nonna to Nicolas and Mia, and adored mother-in-law to Marc and Margaret. Her family was her greatest joy, and she poured her heart into each of them.
One of her most treasured gifts was her love of cooking. Her kitchen was always alive with the comforting aromas of homemade meals, the sound of family gathering, and the warmth of her generous spirit. Through her food, she nurtured, comforted, and brought people together in a way only she could.
Her legacy of compassion, devotion, and the beautiful way she created home-wherever she was-will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
She will be forever remembered and carried with us always.
