Antonino Mazzola

Mazzola, Antonino, age 82, of Hawthorne, on Monday, January 17, 2022. Born and raised in Carini, Italy, Antonino immigrated to the United States in the 1960's, settling in Brooklyn. He had lived in Hawthorne for more than 30 years. Antonino owned and operated Brother's Pizzeria in Midland Park for many years and was a parishioner of St. Anthony R.C. Church in Hawthorne.
Antonino was the beloved husband of Anna (nee: Russo) Mazzola of Hawthorne. Loving father of Vera Mannino and her husband Roberto of Hawthorne, Piera De Marco and her husband Michael of Franklin Lakes and Anthony Mazzola and his wife Jennifer of Oakland. Loving grandfather of Antonio Mannino and his wife Jennifer of Ramsey, Alessandro Mannino and his wife Chelsey of Hawthorne, Michael, Nicholas, Gianna, and Antonio De Marco of Franklin Lakes and Julia, Amelia and Anthony Mazzola of Oakland.
Funeral will depart at 9am on Thursday, January 20, 2022 from the Browning-Forshay Funeral Home, 557 Lafayette Ave., Hawthorne, for a 9:30am funeral mass at St. Anthony R.C. Church in Hawthorne. Entombment will follow. Friends may visit with the family on Wednesday from 4-8pm.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association.
