Antonio Gallegos Obituary
Antonio Vega Gallegos was called to the Kingdom of God on November 16, 2025, in Mount Airy, North Carolina. Antonio was a beloved husband, father, and grandfather. He was born in San Luis Potosí, Mexico, and raised his family with his cherished wife, María Cruz C. Núñez. His legacy includes his six sons, two daughters, several grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. In the United States, this includes his daughter Laura Vega Castillo and her husband Simón, his son Juan Pablo Vega Castillo and his wife Gabriela, and his son Luis Alejandro Vega Castillo and his wife Laura. In Mexico, this includes his daughter María Guadalupe Vega Castillo and her husband Fernando, his son José Antonio Vega Castillo and his wife Alejandra, his son Miguel Ángel Vega Castillo and his wife Ángeles, his son Julio César Vega Castillo and his wife Carolina, and his son Marco Antonio Vega Castillo and partner Hanna Gutierrez. His grandchildren include Karen Vega and partner Gibran , César Vega and partner Nelly, Alejandra Vega, Fernanda Serna and partner Martin, Brenda Serna and partner Raul, Paulina Serna, Valentina Serna, Miguel Vega, Luis Vega, Michelle Vega, Canek Vega, Johana Parra and husband Elijah, Kamy Vega, Zyanya Y. Uriaga-Vega, and Laura Nayeli Bui and husband Peter. His great-grandchildren include Brandon, Raúl, Martín, Nayib and Samanta. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 22, 2025, at 10:00 AM Moody Funeral Home Chapel in Mount Airy with Father Jean Pierre officiating. The family will receive friends on Saturday, November 22, 2025, at Moody Funeral Home from 9:00 until the time of the service. Moody Funeral Services in Mount Airy has been entrusted with the arrangements.
