Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Inc. - CambridgeAntonio D. Lopez, 24, of Cambridge, passed away on Monday, March 30, 2026, at his home.
Antonio was born on October 30, 2001, in Porterville, California, a son to Antonio Jose Lopez and Betsy Michener.
Antonio was a mechanic for the Ohio National Guard where he regularly volunteered for extra deployments. He enjoyed gaming and camping. Antonio also ran cross country and was a member of the swim team. He was Catholic.
Antonio is preceded in death by his uncle, Terry Lee Pyers.
Antonio is survived by his parents, Antonio Jose Lopez of Porterville, California, and Betsy (Rolando Lachino) Michener of Cambridge; his brothers, Noe Lopez and Vincent Lopez, both of Cambridge, Daniel Lopez, Maximillian Lopez, and Mateo Lopez, all of Porterville, California, and Alexander James “AJ” Goodman of Cambridge; and his grandparents, Isabelle and Jose Lopez of Porterville, California and Brenda Taylor of Cambridge.
Also left to cherish his memory are his Godparents, Tomas Lopez, who is also his uncle, and Maria Camarrena; his aunts and uncles, Frances (David) Peoples, Daniel Lachino, Gerardo Lachino, Maria Noland, John Pyers, Seth (Tammy) Pyers, Heather Lyons, and several other aunts and uncles; his nephew, Cruz Lopez; his great aunt and uncle, Tony and Juane Ramirez, several cousins, and the remaining members of the Michener, Lopez, and Lachino families that loved Antonio.
Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, April 8, 2026, from 11AM-1PM at Thorn Black Funeral Home in Cambridge with the service to immediately follow. Burial will be held at Northwood Cemetery.
