REMEMBERING AND HONORING THE LIFE OF ANTONIO MARQUES
WATERBURY -Antonio "Tone" Marques Jr. age 39, of Waterbury, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, May 2nd, 2022 at the Hackensack Meridian Health Pascack Valley Medical Center in New Jersey after a brief illness.
Antonio was born October 7th, 1982 in Waterbury, CT the son of Antonio Marques Sr and Joanne (Snow) Marques. Antonio grew up in Waterbury and was in a near-fatal car accident that left him paralyzed at the age of 20. He spent one year and five months rehabbing at the Hospital for Special Care in New Britain where he eventually became an employee of the hospital. Antonio attended evangelistic care ministries on North Main St where he has been serving as a church elder.
Left to honor his legacy and cherish his memory, beside his parents, are his sister; Melissa Medivilla, and her husband Josh, and their children Roberto, Isaiah, Josh Jr, and Gabrielle. He also leaves his former wife Ebony Dunning.
Funeral Services for Mr. Marques will be held on Monday, May 16th, 2022 at 5:00pm at Casey's Eastside Memorial Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 1987 East Main St @ Southmayd Rd. Relatives and friends may visit with the Marques family on Monday evening at the funeral home from 4:00 to 5:00 pm. Burial will be held privately at the convenience of his family.
