Paulo Alexandre Narciso Marques passed away unexpectedly on December 15, 2025. He was born on April 23, 1970, on the island of Terceira in Portugal, and immigrated to the United States on March 29, 1977, with his siblings and his beloved parents, Maria Narciso Marques and the late Horacio Marques.
Paulo, known as either Paul or Paco to family and friends, was a good man with a kind heart and a great sense of humor. He was known for being nice, funny, and full of personality. He had a way of making people laugh, telling stories, and bringing energy wherever he went. His presence was felt, and his jokes and laughter will be deeply missed.
He loved his family in his own way and enjoyed time spent with his friends, sharing laughs, and especially good Portuguese food that kept him connected to his roots.
He remained a hard worker and took pride in providing through his work. For over 30 years, he was employed at Hawkeye Fence in Brockton, where he was respected and loved by his coworkers and employer for his dedication and reliability. Paul loved the simple life, his family and fishing.
Paul is survived by his four children: his beautiful daughters, Crystal and Elise and his loving sons, Paulo and Jacob. He was the son of Maria Narciso Marques and the late Horacio Marques and is survived by his five siblings, Eddie, Fernanda, Mario, Marinela, and Tony; his former wife, Heather; as well as his cherished grandchildren, cousins, and many friends who will miss him dearly.
Paul’s passing leaves a deep void in the hearts of those who loved him, but his humor, energy, love for family, and the memories he created will live on forever.
Visiting Hours will be held in the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rte. 27) Stoughton on Tuesday, December 23, 2025 from 4-7 PM. Immediately following the Visiting Hours, the celebration of Paul's life will continue at the San Joao Filharmonic Society, 845 Washington St., Stoughton.
