Antonio "AJ" Jesus-Diego Olalde
Born, raised, and departed from earth in
Tucson, Arizona11-14-2005 - 03-01-2026
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of a beloved son, baby brother, family member, and friend who left us far too soon at the young age of 20. AJ's life, though brief, was filled with love, laughter, creativity, and a spirit that touched everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.
AJ was known for his contagious, loud, and unique laugh, his big heart that was shown through his actions, his bright smile, the confidence he had in himself, and the way he made others feel seen and valued.
In AJ's younger days, you would always find him wearing long socks that barely missed touching the ends of his long, big shorts, with many pockets filled with the treasures of the day. He often wore a tactical vest and one-of-a-kind black and green striped fingerless gloves. He enjoyed fishing and every adventure alongside his Nina Sandy, Nino Bob, Tia Sylvia, and Tia Susan, along with all their companions.
AJ found excitement and let his curiosity flow during the times when our dad would take him outside to work and weld little figures. On his own accord, he enjoyed taking random objects apart to build something new, becoming a creator of his own inventions. Boy, what a mess that made! He was also starting to find his own flow in creating music. He was in the process of publishing a song that we hope to share with the world. In any dream AJ pursued, he always put his whole heart and soul into it. AJ had so much to offer the world-his potential was beyond his mind's capacity to even imagine.
At every stage of AJ's life, you would always find his siblings by his side as each other's sidekicks, biggest fans, right-hand men, and protectors-always looking out for one another.
When he was spending time with friends, he always left an everlasting impression on their families, taking the time to see how everyone was doing. AJ had a gift for bringing people together. His presence lit up every room, and his absence will be deeply felt by all who loved him.
He was a devoted son, a blessing of a baby brother, and a loyal friend whose compassion and warmth made a lasting impression. Those closest to him will remember his loving and wild spirit, his dreams for the future, and the genuine way he cared for others.
Though his life ended tragically and far too soon, the love he shared and the memories he created will remain forever in the hearts of those who knew him. His legacy is one of respect, kindness, laughter, loyalty, hard work, and gratitude, and a reminder to cherish every moment with the people we love-to never take tomorrow for granted, to hug your loved ones tight, and to tell them you love them.
He was preceded in heaven by his Nino Jose, Nana Madeline, Tio Tony, Tia Isabel, and his nieces Diamond and Nevaeh.
He is survived by his loving mothers, Alice Olalde and Raquel Olalde; his father, Jose Olalde; and his older siblings, Jasmine, Isaiah, and Alexis Olalde, alongside loyal family and friends who will continue to honor his memory and carry his spirit forward in their lives.
A memorial service to celebrate his life will be held at Santa Catalina Parish (14380 N Oracle Rd,
Tucson, AZ 85739) at a later date.
On behalf of the family, we genuinely appreciate your generosity, prayers, and thoughts during this difficult time, as it reflects the same kindness our beloved AJ showed to others throughout his life. For those who have asked, donations to the family may be made to (520) 822-4364) by Zelle or Apple Pay.
We, the family, ask that you hold your loved ones close and remember AJ with the same love and kindness he showed to the world. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
