Antonio Pizana Obituary
Tony was born on September 11, 1941 in Robstown, Texas to Nicolas Pizaña and Lydia Mancias. He went to high school in Odem, TX and joined the US Navy soon after graduating where he proudly served for 22 years and retired as a Chief Petty Officer. Tony was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, son, brother, uncle, and friend to many.
Preceding in death is his son: Jacob Hernandez; parents: Nicolas and Lydia Pizaña; his siblings: Virginia, Ruben, May, Juan, Mary Lou.
Survivors include his loving wife: Rosemary Mauricio-Pizaña from California; his children: Ricky, Pedro, Paul Richard, Gino, Carmen, Luis and Lilly from Texas and California; 14 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren; sisters: Lupe and Terri.
The visitation will begin Friday, September 29, 2023, 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Resthaven Funeral Home Chapel in Sinton. The Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be held the same evening, 7:00 PM at the funeral home. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday, September 30, 2023, 11:00 AM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Odem. Burial will be Monday, October 2, 2023, 1:00 PM, Coastal Bend Veterans State Cemetery, Corpus Christi.
