Antonio Manuel Resendes

Antonio Manuel Resendes, 51, of Alan Drive passed away on July 17th at Jane Brown Hospital. He was the husband of Theresa F. (Almeida) Resendes. Born in Ponta Delgada, Sao Miguel, Azores, he was the son of Luis Marques Resendes and Urania Maria Furtado Trinidade Resendes. He is survived by his children Andrew R. Resendes and Melanie C. Resendes of Bristol, his sisters Maria Neronha and her husband Joe of Florida and Regina Feijo and her husband Ronald of Swansea. He was the uncle of Jordan Feijo, Nicole (Onny) Jules, Kyle Neronha. Mr. Resendes attended Durfee High School and was a shipper for Duro Textile in Fall River for 28 years before retiring. His funeral services will be held Tuesday July 21st, 8 AM from the George Lima Funeral Home 367 High St with a Mass of Christian Burial, 9 AM at St. Elizabeth Church 577 Wood St. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Bristol.
