April Dawn Vance

April Dawn Vance, born on April 1, 1986, left this world on December 9, 2024, leaving a legacy of love, laughter, and cherished memories. April embraced life with a spirit of adventure, a heart full of kindness, and a deep love for nature. She found joy in camping under the stars, casting a fishing line into serene waters, and swimming wherever life took her. A true lover of life's simple pleasures, April never turned down the chance to savor a good meal with those she loved.
April is reunited in peace with her beloved grandmother, Joy Haggard; grandfather, Arvid Ellis; mother, Jamie Rhodes; and father, Nathan Ellis.
She is survived by her loving husband, William "JR" Vance Jr.; her two cherished children, Terrance Ellis, and Precious Vance; her devoted father and mother-in-law, William and Phillis Vance; her grandfather, Robert Haggard; and her dear siblings: Michelle (Scott) Thomisee, Jessica Wisenor, Camryn Rhodes, and Zachary (Christa) Wisenor. Her vibrant presence will also be profoundly missed by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, her cherished church family, and a wide circle of friends.
April's love for her family, zest for life, and unwavering faith inspired all who knew her. She touched the lives of many and will forever be remembered for her generous heart, adventurous spirit, and radiant smile.
Services to celebrate April's life will be held on Saturday, December 14th, at 11:00 a.m. at Lonoke Assembly of God.
