April Marie Wagner, 54, of Gun Barrel City passed away May 5, 2025.
April was born in Kermit, TX on September 1, 1970, the daughter of Rebecca Marie Yell Wagner and Ricky Dean Wagner. She grew up in Odessa, TX and still has family and friends in West Texas.
Miss Wagner was a Caregiver and loved helping those around her in any and every way that she could. Tik Tok and fishing were things that she enjoyed very much. She had a big love for animals.
April is survived by her sister, Angie Linn and husband Carl Linn. Nephews, CJ Linn and wife Haley Linn and Caleb Linn. Great neice, Maggie Linn. She is also is survived by a multitude of family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents Ricky and Rebecca Wagner. Her grandparents, John Yell, Marie Yell, Vernon Wagner, and Dorothy Wagner.

I met April in 1st grade. We lived next door to each other. April, Jana, and myself could usually be found together. She was always such a sweet sweet girl! I know she will be dearly missed.

I met April on the see saw in 1st grade. I always remember her as very smart. Incredibly smart. Was very shocked and sorry to hear she left us too soon

We became friends at 3 and remained friends and one day we will meet again. I know she is in a much better place and she is finally happy again.
