Archie Reynolds

Archie Lynn Reynolds of Austin, Indiana, passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 6, 2025, at Lake Pointe Village at the age of 75. Archie was born on July 5, 1950, in Breathitt County, Kentucky, the son of the late Tommie Reynolds and Lillie (Richardson) Reynolds. Archie retired from Holm Industries. In his retirement, he loved camping and relaxing while watching his favorite classic television shows. He especially enjoyed watching The Andy Griffith Show and classic westerns, including Gunsmoke and Bonanza. Archie is survived by his wife, Linda Reynolds and his daughters, Sherri Ramirez (Donny) and Amanda Herald (Rex). He leaves behind six grandchildren: Kaitlyn King (Maverick), Jakob Hall, Annmarie Hall, Bryar Herald, Ava Herald, and Isabella Herald. He is also survived by his siblings: Wilma Christine Spencer, Josephine Surber, Irene Howard, Mary Lou Moore (Troy Nolan), Mack Reynolds (Sally), and Kenneth Reynolds (Evelyn), as well as many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his first wife Sharon (Pruett) Reynolds, and his parents, Tommie and Lillie Reynolds, and his infant brother, Thomas Jr.
Funeral Service: 1:00 pm Monday, November 10, 2025 at Buchanan Funeral Home in Austin, Indiana with Rev. Steve Gwaltney officiating. Visitation will be 10 am to 1 pm Monday at Buchanan Funeral Home.
