Brian Wesley Fink, age 70, of Crothersville, Indiana, departed this life on Saturday, November 8, 2025, at his home surrounded by family. Born on August 16, 1955, in Bethseda, Maryland, he was the son of the late Jeanie (Stewart), Bob Lewis and Harry Fink. Brian's life was characterized by his warm spirit, his dedication to his family and his passion for music. Brian met the love of his life, Rena in 2000 and they were married on New Year's Day 2013. Throughout their years together, they shared a love that was evident to all who knew them. Brian spent most of his working career at Ashley Foundry and Cerrowire, which he retired from in 2013. Brian was known for his involvement with the Kentuckiana Blues Society. Beyond his professional life, Brian's true passion lay in music. As a talented musician, he brought joy and entertainment to many, and his absence will leave a silence in the hearts of his fellow music lovers. Brian began playing the drums in grade school and was in his first band at age 13. Brian played the drums for many years in various bands before he decided he wanted to play the guitar. He loved the freedom to move around the stage that he did not have playing the drums. He also played various other instruments and never encountered a musical instrument he could not master. A short list of some of his bands include: The Big City Band, Wild Hare Band, Dodge City Band, Copperbottom Band, The Austin Band, Band of One, Brian Fink and Mudslide, Hewitt & Fink and Soulshine. He is survived by his loving sister, Pam Lewis of North Salt Lake, Utah. Brian was predeceased by his brother, Mike Fink. The funeral service for Brian will be held at 3:00 pm on Wednesday, November 12, 2025, at Buchanan Funeral Home in Austin, Indiana, with Rev. Matthew Terry officiating. Friends and family are invited to pay their respects during visitation hours from 10 am to 3 pm on the day of the service at Buchanan Funeral Home. The interment will follow at Wesley Chapel Cemetery in Austin, Indiana.
