Archie A. Sarazin

Born to life on October 8, 1938, in Wayzata, Minnesota, the son of Archie and Elizabeth (nee Caulkins) Sarazin, Archie passed away peacefully on September 17, 2025, in Fox Point, Wisconsin at age 86 years. He is survived by his dear companion Sharon Crowe, many personal friends and relatives.

Archie dedicated his life to the theater and stage. Starting at a young age, he worked in all areas, from backstage to administration. It was important to him to help facilitate the growth of the arts, so that both young and old patrons could see and be a part of the beauty of the theater. With his commitment to hard work and true determination, and with a strong personality and flair that made Archie unique, he landed in the perfect role as Managing Director of the Performing Arts Center in Milwaukee. During this time, his energy and direction also helped found First Stage Children' s Theater and led to him receiving the Arts Administrator of the Year award among other personal recognitions. Liking the finer things in life, friends of Archie will tell you that celebrations with him were legendary. He will truly be missed by his devoted friends and the greater Milwaukee community.

Visitation will be held for Archie on Tuesday, October 7, 2025, from 9:30am until the time of Mass at 11:00am, all at the Cathedral of St. John the Evangelist, 812 North Jackson Street, Milwaukee. Entombment will follow at Wisconsin Memorial Park in Brookfield.
