Ardath L. Franck

Ardath L. Franck, age 96, of Akron, passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 9, 2021.
Dr. Franck was the Owner and Director of Akron Education Campus and had spent 75 years dedicating her time to teaching. She was also the Founder and President of Twirling Unlimited, founded 43 years ago. Ardath was inducted into the Ohio Senior Citizen Hall of Fame in 2017. She was always very active and enjoyed playing tennis until she was 91 years old. Above all, Ardath loved her family and will be greatly missed.
Devoted wife of the late Frederick Franck; cherished mother of Candace "Candy" (Reed) Kimball, and Sheldon (Pamela) Franck; beloved grandmother of Sam (Karen) and Andy (Lauren) Franck, Lauren (Simon) Freeman, Ryan (Brandi) and Holly Kimball; loving great grandmother of Cameron, Jackson, Carson, Aiden, Joey, Blake, Hadley, and Graham; treasured sister of Chet (the late Lee), John (Jude), and Carl (Barb) Amond.
Per Ardath's wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no memorial service. However, a virtual "Celebration of Life" is available on Facebook for friends, former students, and colleagues to leave photos or memories to share.
