Ardenia Tucker Garland

Ardenia Garland age 67 of Whitley City, Kentucky passed from this life on Thursday, February 13, 2025 at her home. 

She was born July 16, 1957 in Monticello, Kentucky to the late Lawrence Tucker and Frona (Maxwell) Tucker. 

Surviving family include her husband, Ricky Lee Garland; their son, Randy Garland and wife, Amy; a brother, Larry Tucker and wife, Margaret of Jellico, Tennessee; a sister, Sherry Woodall and husband, Chuck of Knoxville, Tennessee; her grandchildren, Madison and Kassidy Garland; and a host of additional family and friends. 

Ardenia was an interior decorator by trade, her talent showed in everything she touched, including making floral arrangements. Ardenia enjoyed baking, cooking, and watching birds fly and feed in her yard. Her favorite were humming birds. She had many hobbies and interest, but her favorite of all was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, whom she loved dearly. 

Funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 15, 2025 at 2:00 pm in the chapel of Pine Knot Funeral Home with Bro. Harold Rollins and Bro. Lonzo Tucker Jr. officiating. The family will receive friends for visitation on Saturday after 1:00 pm until service time. A private burial will take place on Monday at the Angel Cemetery.
