Ardyce F. Main, 83, of Lebanon, IL, passed away on Sunday, August 31, 2025, at Cedar Ridge Health & Rehab Center in Lebanon, IL.
She was born on April 20, 1942, in Hettinger, ND, to Arthur and Mary (nee Roth) Sprecher. On December 28, 1986, she married Clark Main in Omaha, NE.
Ardyce was a member and held offices with the Philanthropic Educational Organization and the Lebanon History Club. She was also a member of the Lebanon Garden Club and Women’s Club. Ardyce enjoyed going to St. Louis Cardinals games and traveling with her husband, Clark. She loved nature, gardening, and birds, which she passed down to her children. Her favorite scripture was Isaiah 41:10 and she lived by the words “Love one another with all your heart and love God.”
A family-oriented woman, Ardyce was a doting wife, loving mother, amazing grandmother and great grandmother. She will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Mary Sprecher, and granddaughter, Jessica Lutz.
Ardyce is survived by her husband of 38 years, Clark Main, Lebanon, IL; daughters, Kammie Reile, Beatrice, NE, Meagen (David) Loos, Cutler, IL, and Shelly Mannor, Lincoln, NE; stepson, Tim (Fran) Main, Omaha, NE; grandchildren, Caleb Overbey, James (Coral) Overbey, Jr., Noah (Cailee) Overbey, Titus Loos, Lily Loos, Sophia Loos, Emma Loos, Izzy Loos, Alex Monson, Ian Monson, Caitlyn Main, Chloe Main, and Garret Main; great grandchildren, Liam Monson, Dean Monson, Cooper Monson, Camden Monson, and Roman Groby.
Memorial donations may be made to Countryside Cemetery.
Visitation: Tuesday, September 9, 2025, from 1:00 to 3:00 pm, at First United Methodist Church in Lebanon, IL
Funeral Service: Tuesday, September 9, 2025, 3:00 pm, at First United Methodist Church in Lebanon, IL
