Ardyth Mohr

Ardyth M. Mohr, age 92, of Adrian, Michigan, passed away on Wednesday, February 1, 2023, after a brief stay at Cambrian Assisted Living. Ardyth was born on May 11, 1930, to Sherman and Ruth Cole and grew up in her beloved town of Tecumseh. Ardyth graduated in 1948 from Tecumseh High School. After meeting Ralph Mohr, Jr. at the Sand Lake skating rink in 1947, she became his wife on September 3, 1949, and became a "farm helper", as she called it, on their farm. They enjoyed 62 years of marriage together and enjoyed spending time at their vacation home in Angola, Indiana.
Ardyth worked for Dr. Eddy as a lab assistant, she was a past member of the Daughters of the American Revolution, and a faithful member of the Bixby Hospital Auxiliary for nearly 30 years. Ardyth was a member of Grace Lutheran Church for over 50 years and became a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Adrian for the last 10 years.
Surviving Ardyth are two daughters - Linda (Michael) Brennan of Adrian and Kathryn Mohr (Mark Prielipp) of Britton; son-in-law Robert Henry of Adrian; 10 grandchildren - Paul (Adrienne) Prielipp, Anna (Nate) Prielipp-Heath, and Adam Cole Prielipp; Jason Brennan, Matthew (Lisa) Brennan, David (Lindsay) Brennan, Sarah (Bill) Raschka, and Ryan (Annie) Brennan; Joseph (Melissa) Henry and Benjamin (Kaitlyn) Henry; and 15 great-grandchildren - Rowan Prielipp; Madison Brennan and Colin Brennan; Elizabeth Raschka, Lucas Raschka, Levi Raschka, and Abigail Raschka; Lila Brennan and Michael Brennan; Madeline Henry, Clayton Henry, and Evie Henry; and Emma Henry, Maci Henry, and Jacob Henry.
Ardyth was preceded in death by her husband and her daughter, Debra Ruth Henry.
Private family funeral services for Ardyth were held at St. John's Lutheran Church in Adrian, with Pastor Joel Sarrault officiating. Burial was held in Brookside Cemetery, Tecumseh.
