Scott A. Mohr, 70, of Chewton, PA, passed away peacefully on September 28, 2025.
Born on March 30, 1955, Scott was the beloved son of Agnes “Toots” Mohr and the late Ralph “Red” Mohr. He shared 47 wonderful years of marriage with his devoted wife, Debra Mohr. Together they built a loving family, raising their children Scott Mohr II (Katie) and Diana McClure (Joshua), and finding great joy in their four grandsons-Hoyt and Chase Mohr, and Bryce and Caiden McClure. He was also a cherished godfather to Brock Taylor.
Scott worked for many years at B & W and Koppel Steel and was a proud member of the Chewton White Eagles PNA. A hardworking man with a big heart, he built lasting friendships and was respected by all who knew him.
Beyond his work, Scott found the greatest happiness in spending time with his family-especially his grandsons, who were the light of his life. He enjoyed golfing, fishing, hunting, motorcycles, softball, and playing in his pool league. A devoted NASCAR fan, Scott rarely missed a race and loved sharing that passion with others.
The family wishes to extend a special thank you to Joe Palumbi for his unwavering support and care throughout the years of their treasured friendship.
A Memorial Service will be held at Marshall Funeral Home in Wampum Thursday October 2, 2025. Visitation will be 11am to 1pm and a brief service starting at 1pm. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the ALS Association in Scott’s memory.
Scott will be remembered for his kindness, his humor, and the deep love he had for his family and friends. His legacy will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
