Keith Mohr Obituary
Keith Otto Mohr, 83,of Sugar Grove, passed away Thursday, November 27, 2025 at the Illinois Veteran's Home in LaSalle.
A visitation will be held on Friday, December 5, from 9:30am until 11:00am at St. Katherine Drexel Catholic Church, 8S055 Dugan Rd, Sugar Grove, IL 60554. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:00am, with Fr. Bill Etheridge officiating. Military honors will be rendered at the conclusion of mass. Cremation rites will be accorded and inurnment will be in Wilhelm's Portland Mausoleum.
Keith was born on March 6, 1942 in Portland, OR to Robert and Thelma (Peters) Mohr. Keith Served in the United States Navy, in Vietnam, as a Lieutenant on a destroyer ship. He married Mae Naselli on May 13, 1989 in St. Charles, IL. Keith worked as a quality control engineer until his retirement. In his free time, he enjoyed golfing, riding his motorcycle, and downhill skiing. He was a member of the Prestbury Yacht Club and Ski Club.
He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Mae; his children, Robert Mohr, Mary Mohr, Brian Kancius, and Cheri Spath; his grandchildren, Katie Spath, Isabella Morgan, Hayley Kancius, Andersen Prewitt, Grace Spath, Eli Mohr, and Cate Mohr; as well as his sister, Kathy Dillivan.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Thelma Mohr.
Memorial contributions in Keith's honor may be directed to the Alzheimer's Association or a charity of the donor's choosing.
