Argelee "Ozzie" Walker

Argelee Walker, 74, a resident of Hartford, CT, departed this life on Saturday, June 15, 2024 at his home. He was the second of ten children born to the Late Mary E. (Walker) Grier in Winnsboro, SC. He received his education in the Winnsboro School System.
In 1969, Argelee relocated to Hartford, CT with his family. Upon his relocation, he worked numerous jobs and retired from Commercial Foundry Co in New Britain, CT.
Argelee loved to cook and was often called upon to make the collard or turnip greens for family gatherings. He loved to get together with his family for any and all occasions, and you could be assured that Argelee had a lot to say while in the midst of his loved ones.
Before his debilitating illness, Argelee attended Walk In The Light Deliverance Church pastored by his brother, Bishop Willie H. Walker.
Argelee leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Joyce Walker; two sons: Ozzie (Racine) Walker and Marcus Walker; two daughters: Lisa Beauregard and Danielle Morris; twelve grandchildren: Ozjoannae Walker, Ozzie Walker, Jr., Maximus Walker, Ryder Walker, Tyris Priester, Tyliah Menefee, Kyla Davis, Shakera Davis, Chamar Walker, Amir Walker, Imani Walker and Izarie Walker; two great-grandchildren Tyris Priester, Jr. and
Jordan Walker; nine siblings: Lewis Walker, Shirley Walker, Willie (Ruth) Walker, Patricia (Robert Lee) Lewis, Mary Grier, James Grier, Janice (Leon) Franklin, Thomas (Cherri) Grier and Joseph Grier; a godsister, Dana McGriff; an aunt, Carrie Walker; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
In addition to his mother, he was predeceased by his father, Ross J. Williams, and his daughter, Tammy Beauregard.
