Arianna Chenault, born September 11th, 1989 chose to end her journey on this earth Thursday.

Lovingly known as Ari, or Ana to those closest. She brought light and love to those around her for the 34 years she gifted us with her infectious smile.

Arianna was the light in the darkest room, the first to selflessly give her flame to those in need. Her family far exceeds that of her immediate as she adopted friends and animals along the way- her love knowing no ends. A cherished daughter, loving wife, devoted mother, and loyal friend.

When you think of Ana, most recall her love as all encompassing. No matter the person, situation or setting. Arianna had an unconditional love, a steady constant for her children. The epitome of mama bear, she was a hard-working mother who strived to provide her children with the life they deserved.

Arianna left an immeasurable impression on every soul she touched. She was vivacious, spunky and strong willed. Unapologetically herself. She chose to face life head on and didn’t shy away from being an advocate for women’s rights, sexual abuse and mental health.

Insurmountable to prepare, the finality of this decision has left behind a hole that will be impossible to fill. While the family is darkened with the pain of her death, they choose to shine light to the silent epidemic of suicide.

Arianna, a voice for the many, advocated for mental illness. One person taking their own life every 40 seconds, leaves no family untouched. The ongoing recovery for families must find a balance between grief, rage, denial, and confusion. While finding the promising moments of love through her memories.

We will each carry her on with us, her likeness and mannerisms in her children. We will heal, persevere, laugh until we cry and cry until we laugh in memory of Ana.

Arianna was preceded in death by her grandparents, Virginia “Cricket” Gunter, Lynn Lamky, Margaret Parman, and Charles Parman is survived by her loving husband, Chad Chinault; children, Kieran, Cason, Oaken, Marley, and Henley; parents, Kimberly Walters (James) and David Parman; sister, Ashley Ewen (Jonathan); brother, Nathaniel Parman; nephew, Darion Parman; in-laws, Michael and Paula Chenault; and many friends who loved her dearly.
