Fred Lee Sandage, aged 69 of White House, passed away on February 14, 2026. He was born in Fort Knox, Kentucky, on November 25, 1956, to Garnett Sandage and Marion “Bubbles” Sandage.
Fred was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Marie Wisman and Margaret Howard; brothers, Atlee (Chile) Sandage, Keith Sandage, Tommy Sandage, and Harry Sandage.
He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Kim Sandage; children, Leah Shyra Chafin (Herb), Bethany Lee Johnson (Daniel), and Shelly Amber Sandage; grandchildren, Jayla Shyra Sandage, Kimla Grace Johnson, Raylee Marie Johnson, and Timothy Lee Record; sisters, Melvine Hawkins, Della Zelsdorf, and Susie Sandage; and brothers, Jr. Sandage (Renate) and Bob Sandage.
Raised in Louisville, Kentucky, Fred attended Pleasure Ridge Park High School and earned a Bachelor’s degree in Theology from Kentucky Wesleyan College. He served as Youth Associate Pastor at First Assembly of God in Hendersonville, Tennessee, and as Youth/Children’s Associate Pastor at Bellshire Assembly of God in Nashville, Tennessee.
Mr. Sandage was known for his positive influence on his family and those he encountered throughout his life, fostering a welcoming and cheerful environment.
Funeral Services will be held on Sunday, February 22, 2026, at 4:00 P.M. in the Chapel at Sumner Funeral & Cremation Lakeside, with Jeff Walters and Bryan Wright officiating. Visitation will be held on Sunday from 1:00 P.M. until the time of service.
