Bobby Ray Caskey

Bobby Caskey, 87, of Madisonville, KY, passed away on Sunday, February 8, 2026, at White House Healthcare and Rehab in White House, TN.

He was born on December 30, 1938, in Graham, KY, to the late Louise Ebling Caskey and T.J. Caskey. He was formerly employed as a coal miner for Colonial Coal Mines. He enjoyed managing his rental properties, working outside, and old cars. His greatest joy was spending time with his family and sharing with others about the Lord. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Madisonville and frequently attended Yeargins Chapel in Graham, KY.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of thirty-two years, Carolyn Ann Putman Caskey; daughter, Shirley Cox Garner; sons, Larry Carroll and David Carroll; sister, Delorious Shipley; and grandson, Nathan Carroll.

His survivors include daughter, Angela (Rick) Caskey Shimer of White House, TN; brothers, Tommy (Dean) Caskey, Gerald (JoAnn) Caskey, Ricky (Cindy) Caskey; sisters, Patsy Millay, Cecilia Mallory, Yvonne (Bobby) Moore, and Sedona (Thomas) Arnett; grandchildren, Tary Fuller, Christina Shepard, Seth Carroll, Brooke Carroll, Alex Carroll, Cassandra Carroll, Richie Shimer, and Anna Shimer; nine great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and his longtime companion, Jeanie Austin.

A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, February 14, 2026, in the chapel of Harris Funeral Home with Dr. David Evans officiating and Bro. David Fullen assisting. Burial to follow at Concord Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery in White Plains, KY.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the funeral hour on Saturday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers are Richie Shimer, Alex Carroll, Tary Fuller, Max Fuller, Seth Carroll, Simon Carroll, Jacob Carroll, and Josh Caskey.
