Arlene Aboud

Arlene Aboud, 61, of Columbia City, Indiana, passed away Sunday, October 23, 2022, at Miller's Merry Manor in Columbia City. Born April 8, 1961, in El Paso, Texas, she was the daughter of John H. Sr. and Ema C. (Chacon) Aboud.
Arlene was very loving, had a great sense of humor, was funny, and enjoyed being around others. She had a strong faith and loved talking and singing to Jesus. Arlene loved to sing, paint, knit, and play games on her iPad. She watched every single episode of Little House on the Prairie and dressed her Cabbage Patch doll daily.
Arlene is survived by her mother, Ema Aboud of El Paso, TX; siblings, Bernice (Gary) Gatrell of Columbia City, Corrine Aboud of Dallas, TX, Yvonne (Joe) Russell and John H. (Nina) Aboud, Jr., both of El Paso, TX; uncle Dr. David (Assel) Garcia of Austin, TX; several nieces and nephews; and several great-nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, John H. Aboud, Sr., grandmother Albina Garcia, uncles Arturo Chacon and Enrique Chacon, aunt Ruth Chacon, and great nephew Raul Raygozo.
A private family gathering will be held for Arlene at a later date. Arlene will be laid to rest next to her father at Restlawn Memorial Park in El Paso, Texas.
