Arlene F. Aslaksen (nee Keller) of Avon Lake peacefully passed away at home on Tuesday, November 30, 2021 surrounded by her loving family. She was born November 4, 1934 in Wakeman, Ohio to parents Anthony and Florence (nee Surman) Keller. She was raised in Columbia Station and graduated from Columbia High School where she was valedictorian. Arlene enjoyed knitting mittens, hats and prayer shawls and baking cookies, pies and bread. She was a member of the Ladies Guild at St. Joseph Church and Meals on Wheels. Above all, she was a loving mother of eight.
Arlene is survived by her adoring children Laury (Tim) Stuebner, Cindy (Jeff) Probst, Cathy (Bob) Sepulski, Cari (Ed) Moran, David (Laura), Erik (Suzi), Shaun (Julie) and Cristin (Darby) Walsh; cherished grandchildren Kait (Mike), Ali (Matt), Tom, Carly, Emily, Katie, Sarah (Tyrone), Samantha, Andrew, Erin, Mali (Joe), Eddie (Lauren), Amanda, Rachel (Daryl), Jared (Emily), Dillon (Maddie), Emma, Luke, Matthew, Abi, Ian, Griffin and Nolan; and 13 great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 50 years David; parents; and brothers Bob and Ray Keller.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be forwarded to St. Joseph Church Building Fund 32946 Electric Blvd, Avon Lake, Ohio 44012.
Friends and family may call on Monday, December 6, 2021 from 9-10am for a visitation with Mass to follow at St. Joseph Church, 32946 Electric Blvd. Avon Lake, OH 44012. Burial will follow at Resthaven Memorial Gardens. www.buschcares.com 440-933-3202
