Arlene Bright Obituary

She was born and raised in Humboldt, Tennessee and was a lifelong member of Morning Star Baptist Church where she was baptized at a young age. She was a 1977 graduate of Humboldt Senior High School. She also attended Tennessee State University in 1978. In her professional life, Arlene worked at Walmart Superstore for 27 years as a sales associate in the Fabric Department. Arlene had a caring heart and was always willing to help any and everyone. Her family describes her as being a joy to be around, but always keeping it real. Arlene's grandchildren were her pride and joy.
She leaves to cherish her memories to her daughter, Chejuan (Marshall) Brown; two sons, Terrance (Aieshia) Davis and Cordero (Shantel) Bright; mother, Quilla Lewis; sisters, Lettie (Kevin) Bedford, Karen (Jackie) McClinton, Patricia (John) Robinson, Raphal Dee Spates; brothers, Tommy Lewis, Jr., Ronnie Lewis, Johnny Lewis, Danny Lewis, Everett Spates, Kevin Spates and Alex Spates; three grandchildren, Jakayla Davis, Arlana Bright, Tylexia Hill; one-great-grandchild, Abryanna Harrell; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Memorial Service will be held Friday, August 26, 2022 at 12:00 Noon at Morning Star Baptist Church in Humboldt, TN with Rev. Kevin Bedford as Eulogist. Inurnment will be at Rose Hill Cemetery in Humboldt, TN.
**Flowers should be delivered to the church on Fri., Aug. 26 beginning at 10:00 a.m.
